Here is a little guy I gave the title "Turtle Slayer"
He's not into the bones - just the shells. Although he appears to
have the necessary tools to kill these turtles he seeks out, I don't believe he actually does.
I think he is putting on a front.

I try to do warm ups before I start on work to loosen up and get into a groove. Usually I just do a really quick sketch, but I stuck with this guy a while. I'll have to post some of the usual rough looking warm-ups one day. This guy will also be thrown into a "sketch swap" with a couple of artsy friends, which I'll get into a bit more down the road.

It looks like it will be work overload time again, but I will try to remain active on here. But you know how I get by now.......

Fun and quirky as always, Scott. Hope you got around to getting your San Diego plane ticket :) btw, I might end up moving to Boston for a job, so I'd be visiting New York from time to time. It'd be neat to bump into you one of those times.

Bonjour Scott,
it's a nice picture, I love this character a lot. ;) I realise today it's just a question of time before we meet in "Flesh and Bones" like we say in France [btw, do you have the same expression in USA ? Just curious].
See ya soon. ;)

Hi, Scott... wanted to tell you that I loved so very much the portrait in your website of a woman in very lovely green dress with soft textures . I love so many things about this image... the overall sensation the most... of love from both ends and comfort and warmth and lovely domestic feeling... such a dear image... I feel so good looking at it, it makes me happy and softened... and of course it is erotic and unimaginably surreal, with slightly strange aftertaste too but combined with a very clear feeling of home...
I love other many new images as well... but I wanted to talk about this one especially today. How wonderful her moss-like growing huge hair... they probably soft and warm on touch.
Hope you and yours doing great... Always with love and special sympathy...
