To kick off 2009, I decided to post a bunch of sketches I don't believe I have shared yet. It's kind of a mixed bag of work...sketches, fun stuff, doodles, WIPs....
I apologize if some of these are double posts -hard to keep track.
Thanks again for all the comments, folks.

Some awesome stuff going on in these, man! I'm digging those sketches, what colors are your favorite to work with in your sketchbook? I notice the red and blue are probably mechanical pencil lead, those are great to work with, such clean, precise lines. Can't wait to see that in progress piece finished!

what a great way to start the New year! I love your painting technique...that top image is probably my fav here, I enjoy the surrealness of it.

Best wishes for 2009!

I really like the last one. The gray palate gives it a really somber mood.

Thanks guys!
Eric- I really like the Col-Erase pencils. More for their feel than color..but I like the blue and Rose colors as well. An animator introduced me to them years ago and I've been hooked on them since. Of course I'm always trying new drawing mediums out. I feel like I haven't found the perfect one yet :) Will you be at NYCC this year?

Ken - Thanks so much sir. I look forward to your magic in 2009 !

Jeremy - Thanks sir! It's a pretty bad photo, but I for just a WIP shot I figured a quick snapshot would suffice. It's still got a lot of areas I am not happy with, but I am going to try (for once) not to rush it.

Jens- Thanks man and thanks YOU for the beauties you sent me. Thanks for linking me. You may have noticed I avoid the links-with the exception of my site, and the group blogs I am associated with. The reason is that I would feel so guilty and horrible if someone felt left out or neglected. I hope this doesn't offend you sir -I would never intend to do such a thing!
