OH NOES MY TOES
Just messing around lately inbetween work. Started out as just a fast sketch and then I grabbed nearby art supplies and turned into a 5 year old with fingerpaints. Just having some fun lately- maybe I'll post more of these quick, just-for-fun sketches. They are not much to look at but they are fun to do.

I think we're on the same wavelength, finding fun and simple things to play around with during the short breaks we take. I've been wondering about rendering with thumbprints lately, like Chuck Close used to. It seems fun! Glad to see you're finding time to mess around, even if it's only for a short while.

Laura -Thanks! It's just some watered down acrylic over pencil. I think I used a pen on some parts as well...pretty much anything lying around my drafting table.

Mike - I've been thinking about making a custom brush in Painter using fingerprints. I just haven't gotten around to it. I'll let you know how it works!

nice! Your level of confidence is visible on the page. (confidence not to be mistaken for arrogance)

Fun to do, fun to look at as well. You'd think that the red would attract my attention and hold it but it's the patterned underwear. A nice hypnotic touch. I'm going to have put paisley or something else psychedelic in picture now.
