Acrylic sketch of Dylan: This was done from ref I took of my son and then quickly painted in my new sketchbook. The goal was to only use a very limited palette. The colors were: Yellow Ochre, Burnt Umber, Quinicridone Red, Ivory Black, and Titanium White.

arkdaddy - thanks dude! Well- I like oils about 10x's more to be honest. I've never used quality acrylics, so maybe I should invest in some. The easy setup, cleanup and drying time is very appealing with acrylics, so they are perfect for quick sketches like this.
