The piece being nominated is the cover art for The Mysterious Mr. Spines : FLIGHT . Really glad to see some of my good friends nominated as well, and other artists I have deep respect for.
Here's a sketch of our friend's 8 month yr. old baby, JD. They came over for a visit, and I got to sneak in a sketch while he was taking a nap.
Lastly here's another one of those chapter opener ink drawings I did. Hopefully, I'll be able to talk more about that project soon.

Scott i just got spectrum 16 recently, and was slapped in the face, hard, by the sheer awesomeness on pretty much every page.
I saw this painting in there and absolutely loved it! I am glad that you got a nomination for it- the colour palette, design and everything make it a great image, good luck!
