A quick note about shipping prices in my new online store. I was able to lower the prices of small item shipping for both domestic and international orders. Don't worry -anyone who bought a book, was reimbursed the difference.

The bigger problem is for international prints. Because they are being shipped flat, the shipping price for int'l orders is quite large. I certainly wish this was not the case and was trying hard to remedy this problem. I have not been able to find a better price, so if someone has any solutions I would be very grateful to hear them. The other solution is to send 13" x 19" print orders in tubes internationally. I am very reluctant to do this, because I feel it often damages the print to a degree. Anyone who wants to chime in, I would love to hear your opinions. Thank you!

Finally have some new life-drawings I did just an hour ago - these are fresh off my sketchbook. Thanks for stopping by!

yeah that annoyed the shit out of me that sending stuff flat is so expensive cause the charge by perimeter. Perhaps you could give them the option- tubed (cheaper but risk of damage) or flat (expensive but safer). Or you could try and track down some more solid stronger tubes maybe?

Nice life drawings good to see you keeping it up there, definitely managed to get her character.

eric- thanks sir! This was my first time back in a WHILE. It's at the Nassau County Museum of Art in Long Island. Probably a bit of a distance from you :)

rodman - all good options man . Will definitely consider all of them...thanks for the input!

Yeah - been way too long for life drawing. I was a bit rusty, but it felt so good to get back into it. Can't wait to go again.

Jeremy -thanks! yeah lots of character with this model!

Thanks for posting these sketches. This kind of drawing is the foundation of everything an artist does - nice to see yours is rock solid.

I'd prefer to pay more to have a print shipped flat every day of the week.

I received the most beautiful print from a UK artist today, little did I know it was going to be sent in a tube :( Printed on beautiful somerset velvet 300gsm, which is now inevitably creased.

Every print I've brought from a US artists has come flat and survived the journey :)

If I'm not mistaken you have any additional prints as shipping free - which is very fair and makes it totally worthwhile to buy more art - I know I'll be getting two at once some day!
